The Non-GMO Project is a non-profit organization that provides a third-party verification program for products that are free of genetically modified organisms (GMOs). The organization operates in North America and aims to provide consumers with a reliable way to identify and purchase non-GMO products. The organization's verification program includes testing and on-site inspections to ensure that products meet the organization's standards for GMO avoidance.
The Non-GMO Project offers a "Non-GMO Project Verified" seal that can be used on products that have gone through the organization's verification process. The seal is a butterfly logo that can be found on the packaging of products that have been verified as non-GMO by the organization. This logo allows consumers to quickly identify non-GMO products, providing a level of assurance that the product does not contain genetically modified organisms.
Redesigning the brand identity I took into consideration the target audience and the message that the logo should convey. Simplifying the design of the logo can make it more modern and easy to recognize. Adding a ladybug to the logo makes the logo more memorable and appealing.
